Solar-Driven

Solar-Driven is an endless 2d space top-down wave survival shooter space plane sim made by a solo indie developer, for linux and windows.

(browser version coming soon, just havent set it up yet)

Features:

• Endless asteroids, with different velocities and sizes
• Long forgotten, abandoned enemy ships: what are they being piloted by now?
• Progress in the form of a shop that lets you buy things with your health items
• (Technically) Infinite Gameplay
• Intuitive movement (changing thrust levels, using only the mouse to move)
• Particle effects

Controls:

• Mouse: Movement (speed based on thrust)
• W: Increase thrust, A: Decrease thrust
• Space: Open Shop
• Left Click: Shoot Bullets
• Right Click: Shoot Rockets
• R: (needs the gear repair upgrade) use one gear to heal up to 1.4 health
• Esc: Pause menu (shows all the controls)

Misc:

• This game was made to prove to myself that I could fully make and release a game before moving onto bigger, better projects
• This game was made in about 4.5 days
• This game is (sadly) unlikely to receive any updates (unless a make a remaster or something)
• This game was made without the use of ai in any form
